Now installing Rib Pockets on applicable ribs. These "pockets" are brackets that hold the drag/anti-drag bars in the wings. there are eight of these pockets per wing. I'll post pictures of bending the blanks into the actual pockets in the next couple of days.

Hello All, Completed the aileron for the Aeropup USA. Note this aileron uses countersunk rivets. This is certainly not necessary as regular rivets are perfectly fine. However, I elected to go with countersunk rivets for cosmetics reasons...and maybe the Aeropup will fly 0.0005 knots fast without the drag of regular rivets.

Final drilling complete and hinges mounted. Now, just have to apply corrosion protection and rivet. More in the next couple of days

Hello all. Building the ailerons and fine tuning final design. These ailerons are 72 inches long, providing great control and maneuverability of the Aeropup through all flight profiles.

Starting to work on the Wings for Aeropup USA. Wood ribs on aluminum spares. Pretty easy construction though requires time and patience.

I completed firewall for Aeropup USA prototype. Dimensions in drawing require updating.
